Major road closures at the border between Scotland and England are in place following a one-vehicle crash in Dumfries and Galloway.
Emergency services were called to the A74 (M) near Gretna around 6.40am on Thursday morning following reports of a collision involving one vehicle.
As a result, the M74 after junction 22 onto the M6 remains closed southbound, with traffic taken off the route at the junction.
The A75 is closed eastbound as it joins the M74.
The northbound route is being managed by Cumbria Police, with a National Highways approved diversion in place.
Drivers have been warned of delays in the area and urged if possible to avoid the area.
