STV NewsA man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Clydebank during the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to a property on The Crescent around 1.05am following reports of an incident.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Detectives began searching for a man and woman in connection with the incident.
A 20-year-old man has since been charged in connection with attempted murder.
He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
A 19-year-old woman was previously arrested and charged in connection.
She appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
The 19-year-old was charged with assault to severe injury, disfigurement, impairment, danger to life and attempted murder.
She was also charged with three counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
She made no plea and was released on bail. The date for her next appearance has not been set.
