A man has been arrested after a road in Glasgow was closed for more than six hours on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Clarkston Road at around 1.30am following reports of concern for a person.
The road between Merrylee Road and Muirend Road was taped off by officers.
Officers arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the incident. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Clarkston Road has reopened following a report of concern for a person, reported to police around 1.30am on Wednesday, November 12
“A 28-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“The public are thanked for their patience.”
