Adobe StockA man has been charged in connection with a serious assault after a reported disturbance on a Glasgow street.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident, which took place on Hyndland Street, at around 4.45pm on Tuesday.
A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Officers charged a 41-year-old in connection with the alleged attack.
The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with serious assault, following a report of a disturbance on Hyndland Street, Glasgow.
“The incident was reported around 4.45pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and a 49-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The 41-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.”
