A man has been taken to hospital after suffering a facial injury following an incident in a Glasgow flat.

Emergency services were called to a property on Guthrie Street in Maryhill after reports of an injured man at around 9.35am on Monday.

A 43-year-old male was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for a facial injury.

Officers have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection. An investigation is under way.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.35am on Monday, March 10, 2025, emergency services attended a report of a man injured within a flat in Guthrie Street, Maryhill, Glasgow.

“The 43-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he is being treated for a facial injury.

” A 30-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
