A man was rushed to hospital after a four-vehicle crash in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Bridge of Weir Road in Johnstone at around 3.40pm on Monday, February 12.
A 77-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Officers confirmed a 27-year-old man has been reported for alleged road traffic offences following the incident.
The road was closed for several hours after the accident but reopened at around 8pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.40pm on Monday, February 12, 2024, we were called to reports of a four-vehicle crash on Bridge of Weir Road, Johnstone.
“Emergency services attended and a 77-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“The road was closed while recovery was arranged and fully reopened around 8pm.
“A 27-year-old man is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
