Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to officers to come forward.
“I’d also ask that those with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0875 of April 6, 2026.”
