A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash on the Isle of Arran.
Emergency services were called to the A841 near Blackwaterfoot following reports of a one-vehicle crash at around 2.40pm on Wednesday.
The male driver was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital via air ambulance.
The road was closed for almost four hours.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Wednesday, February 4, we received a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A841 near Blackwaterfoot on the Isle of Arran.
“Emergency services attended and a man, the driver, was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 6.30pm.”
