Two people have died after a car plunged into the sea at Argyll.
A man and woman were both found dead on the shoreline after the vehicle careered off the B8024 near Ormsary and crashed into the water on Sunday morning.
Officers were made aware of the incident around 9am and found two bodies a short time later.
The victims’ next of kin have been made aware and police are now investigating the incident.
Sergeant Paul MacPherson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident which has resulted in the deaths of two people.
“I would urge anyone with information which could help or investigation or who may have seen the car at any time overnight to let us know as soon as they can.”
