A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after a motorbike struck a pedestrian in Glasgow on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Pollokshaws Road at the junction with Queen Square at around 7.45pm after reports of a Triumph Bonneville motorbike hitting a pedestrian.
The 74-year-old female pedestrian and the 52-year-old male rider were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to allow enquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 12.30am on Saturday.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and haven’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to get in touch.”
