A man has appeared in court over the murder of a Dutch crime writer in the Netherlands four years ago.
Christopher Hughes appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday charged with murder.
Dutch crime writer Martin Kok was shot dead near Amsterdam in December 2016.
Hughes was arrested on a European Arrest Warrant.
The 31-year-old also appeared in connection with alleged serious organised crime offences in Scotland.
Hughes made no plea and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He will next appear in court within eight days.
