A man has been arrested after a pensioner was found dead at her home in South Lanarkshire.
The 75-year-old woman’s body was discovered in a house, on Dalziel Street, Hamilton, at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with her death.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 75-year-old woman in Dalziel Street, Hamilton.
“The incident was reported at around 4.30pm on Sunday, February 9.
“Inquiries remain ongoing.”
