Police have arrested a man after a quantity of “potentially hazardous substances” were found inside a property in Glasgow.
Officers were called to an address on Old Shettleston Road in the city’s East End around 2.20pm on Monday following a report of concern for a person.
A quantity of potentially hazardous substances were found inside the property.
Local road closures were put in place for around eight hours before being lifted around 11pm.
There is no risk to the wider public and officers remain in the area, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.
