iStockA man has been arrested and taken to hospital following a disturbance involving weapons in East Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man with weapons in the Clober Road area of Milngavie at around 10.05pm on Wednesday.
A 36-year-old was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment.
Police Scotland said enquiries into the incident are “ongoing”.
Chief Inspector Aidan Higgins Local Area Commander for East Dunbartonshire said: “Around 10.05pm on Wednesday, June 11, a report was received of a man in possession of weapons, causing a disturbance in the Clober Road area of Milngavie.
“Officers attended and the 36-year-old man was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
