A man who was arrested at Glasgow Airport earlier this month has appeared in court charged with alleged gang-related offences.

Police officers apprehended John Gray in connection with an outstanding warrant as he stepped off a plane on March 8.

The 53-year-old, from Paisley, made his second appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court on March 17.

He has been charged with being involved in a serious organised crime group, directing someone to commit a serious offence, and two counts of being involved with the supply of drugs.

Gray has been fully committed and remanded in custody.

His next court date is to be confirmed.
