A man was arrested in connection with an assault at a bus station in Kilmarnock.
Emergency services were called to reports of an assault at a bus station in Green Street at around 7.35pm on Saturday.
The victim did not require hospital treatment.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.35pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024, police were called to a report of a man having been assaulted at the bus station in Green Street, Kilmarnock.
“Officers attended and a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
“The victim did not require hospital treatment.”
