© Google Maps 2024A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman at a house in Glasgow.
Officers were called to Tummel Street, in Riddrie, at around 7.40pm on Thursday following reports of a woman being seriously injured.
A 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being treated as suspicious and a 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault.
Enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street, Riddrie, Glasgow, around 7.40pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
“Emergency services attended, however, the 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
