A man has been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into the death of a man whose remains were found on the shore of Loch Lomond.

Remains were discovered on Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 13.

They were later identified as belonging to Graham Wright, who was reported missing from Glasgow on August 25. The 38-year-old was last seen around noon on August 20 in the Gorbals area.

Police have now arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

Graham’s death continues to be treated as unexplained.

The arrest comes almost a week after police began searches of a block of flats at Ardencraig Quadrant in Castlemilk.

Searches were also carried out close to the Jenniburn Centre, Ardenglen community hub and nearby woodland.

Properties in Rutherglen and the Gorbals have previously been searched as part of the investigation.
