A man who attacked two police officers has been jailed for 405 days.
Raymond Cameron pounced on the officers in two separate incidents in Glasgow in April and December this year.
The 42-year-old also made homophobic remarks to another officer in April.
Cameron pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the two assaults and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by prejudice related to sexual orientation.
The court heard Cameron attacked PC Kevin Bryan on April 4 in the city’s Bridgeton.
Prosecutor Oliver Davidson-Richards said: “Officers arrested him for an unrelated matter and the accused kicked out and struck the officer’s chest.”
The hearing was told Cameron was taken to a police station on April 16 for another incident.
Mr Davidson-Richards said: “He shouted to a constable that he was a f***ing p*** and you are a p*** aren’t you?
Cameron made further violent threats outside a McDonald’s in the city’s Easterhouse on the day of his release from a prison sentence on December 5.
Officers went to restrain Cameron, who then kicked a constable on the shin before making a threat to spit on them.
Sheriff Lindsay Wood told Cameron he couldn’t see him complying with a sentence other than custody.
