A man was caught with £300,000 of cocaine stashed in supermarket carrier bags in his home..
Neil Miller, 44, was snared following a police search at his home in Larkhall, Lanarkshire on September 25 2024.
Prosecutor David McDonald told the High Court in Glasgow how officers discovered a number of Asda and Co-Op carrier bags with suspicious powder inside.
The consignment had a purity of more than 70%.
A safe holding £1,005 was also found along with a substance used to bulk out drugs to maximise profits.
Miller’s car was also searched that day.
Mr McDonald said: “Police recovered various mobile phones.
“In addition, there was £6,050 in cash along with an envelope with certain notations.”
Miller pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
He had been on bail, but was remanded in custody by judge Lord Colbeck as sentencing was deferred until a later date.
