A man has been charged after armed police descended on a property in Greenock.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Grosvenor Road in the town at around 10.40am on Sunday, March 3.
Emergency services attended the scene and a 44-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday, March 4.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10.40am on Sunday, March 3, to a report of a disturbance in the Grosvenor Road area of Greenock.
“Emergency services attended and a 44-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
“He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday, March 4, 2024.”
