A man has been charged after drugs worth £155,000 were recovered from a property in Glasgow.

Officers on patrol saw a man in possession of drugs on Lawrence Street in the city around 8pm on Saturday.

A subsequent warrant was executed at a premises on the street.

Herbal cannabis and ketamine, with an estimated street value of £155,000, and £45,655 in cash were recovered.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 25.

Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling violence and drug dealing in our communities.

“We cannot do this alone, and the public’s help is absolutely vital when it comes to ridding our communities of these illegal activities.
