A man has been charged after cannabis worth £18,900 was seized from a flat in South Lanarkshire.
Officers discovered the drugs while searching a flat in The Furlongs, Hamilton, at around 4.10pm on Wednesday.
Police said the estimated street value of the cannabis cultivation recovered is up to £18,900.
A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4.10pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, officers from the Airdrie Priority Policing Team discovered a cannabis cultivation following a search of a flat in The Furlongs, Hamilton.
“The estimated street value of the drugs recovered is up to £18,900.
“A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
