A man has been charged after a window was smashed at a mosque in East Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of vandalism at Masjid Yusuf, Clarkston Community Centre, at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 24.
An investigation was launched, and police have now arrested and charged a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with smashing a window in Clarkston, East Renfrewshire.
“The incident happened around 5.40pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at a premises on Stamperland Gardens.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
