A man has been charged after a pedestrian was struck in a crash involving two vehicles in North Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on Petersburn Road in Airdrie around 11.05am on Friday morning.
A 44-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
On Saturday, police confirmed a 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
