A man has been arrested and charged after weapons, drugs and cash were seized in a raid in Glasgow.

The weapons included zombie knives, a crossbow, large hunting knives, axes and an air rifle.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of £3,600 and £5,200 in cash were also found.

Officers raided two flats on Dougrie Place in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow at around 9.30am on Monday, April 7.

A 22-year-old man was subsequently arrested.

The man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and enquiries are ongoing.

Detective superintendent Steven Elliot said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling violence and drug dealing in our communities. With the help and support of the public, we will continue to target anyone involved in organised criminal activity.
