A man has been charged eight months after a pedestrian died after being hit by a car in North Lanarkshire.
William Henderson was hit by a car on Greenfaulds Road in Cumbernauld around 8.10am on May 26 last year.
The 49-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he later died.
Police say a 39-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
