A man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash on the A78 which killed a ‘loving father and husband’.
The collision occured around 11.25pm on Saturday, October 15 2022 and involved a Toyota Yaris travelling south and a northbound VW Golf.
David Horn, the 59-year-old driver of the Toyota Yaris, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he died a short time later.
In a statement released at the time, Mr Horn’s family said: “David was a loving, caring and compassionate husband and father, and a ready, willing and true friend to many.”
On Thursday, police confirmed a 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with the crash.
He will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
