A man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run which left a pedestrian in hospital.
A 51-year-old man was struck on Dalsetter Avenue in Drumchapel at around 1pm on Monday.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for treatment, and no other injuries were reported.
A search was launched for the driver of a small, red car involved, who left the scene before police arrived.
A 49-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
