A man has been charged following a street attack involving a bladed weapon in Glasgow.
The incident, which involved two men, occurred on the city’s Tollcross Road near Braidfauld Street on Saturday.
One man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment while a bladed weapon was recovered by officers at the scene.
On Wednesday, officers confirmed a 38-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He was released on an undertaking and is due to appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into a serious assault which occurred on Tollcross Road at Braidfauld Street on Saturday, September 6.
“The man has been released on an undertaking and will appear in court at a later date.”
