STV NewsA man has been charged in connection with the murder of a 28-year-old man in Wishaw.
Police were called to a flat in Crindledyke Crescent in the early hours of Saturday morning.
They found a body and a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged.
Detective inspector Frank Travers said: “I would like to thank the local community who engaged with us throughout the weekend and provided information to support our inquiry.
“Community support and engagement during any investigation is extremely important and that ultimately helped this investigation.”
The 29-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
