STV NewsA street in Glasgow has been cordoned off by police after a man died and three others were taken to hospital following a disturbance.
Officers were called to the incident within a property on Berkeley Street at around 6.45am on Friday.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers remain on the scene where a forensic tent has been erected on the road, as investigations continue.
Police say there is no threat to the wider community.
STV NewsSTV News understands that the nearby Glasgow Gaelic School is open as usual.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 6.45am on Friday, December 5, we were called to a report of a disturbance within a property on Berkeley Street in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
STV News“The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“Officers remain at the scene and there is no threat to the wider public.”
