A man has died in hospital after being found seriously injured on a street in the east end of Glasgow.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered on Duke Street, near to Hunter Street, at around 6:45am this morning.
He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but died a short time later.
The death is not thought to be suspicious but police say enquiries are continuing.
Police Scotland said in a statement: “Around 6.45 am this morning, Wednesday, 1 July, 2020, a man, thought to be in his 20s, was found seriously injured on Duke Street, near to Hunter Street, Glasgow.
“He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he died a short time later.
“Duke Street, between Barrack Street and John Knox Street is closed until further notice.”
