A woman has been charged following the death of an elderly man who had been knocked to the ground by a dog in Renfrewshire.
The 84-year-old was walking along the Forth and Clyde Path near Erskine Bridge when the dog knocked him over on Monday, May 22.
He later attended the hospital for treatment but died on Monday June 5, 2023.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested and charged under Section 49 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, relating to the control of animals in a public place.
The woman was released and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
