Getty ImagesA man has died following a one-car crash on the A83.
The 53-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident at Whitehouse near Tarbert around 7.30pm on Hogmanay.
His next of kin have been made aware.
The road remains closed with a local diversion in place via the B8001, a single-track road only suitable for cars, not other vehicles.
Police have urged road users to avoid the area.
