A man has died in hospital after plunging from the window of a property in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Birness Drive at around 6.05am on Thursday after receiving reports that a 21-year-old man had been injured after falling from a window.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and was pronounced dead a short time later.
The death is being treated as “unexplained” and enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 21-year-old man was injured after falling from a window at a property on Birness Drive, Glasgow, around 6.05am on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
“He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
