A serial sex attacker has been jailed for ten years in one of the “very worst” rape cases a judge had dealt with.
Jordan Frankland subjected his teenage victim to a three-year campaign of sadistic abuse.
The crimes included the 22-year-old filming himself raping the vulnerable victim.
Frankland was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on Thursday.
He had earlier pled guilty to repeatedly attacking the girl between October 1, 2020 and December 4, 2023.
Lord Arthurson told Frankland, of Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, that he had narrowly decided against calling for a risk assessment order which could have led to him facing an Order for Lifelong Restriction.
But, the judge added: “The offending represents one of the very worst cases of rape that I have ever required to consider.
“For over three years you repeatedly raped your vulnerable child victim in the most degrading and sordid of circumstances.”
Frankland will be supervised for eight years on his eventual release due to the harm he may continue to pose.
Locations where the crimes happened included in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire and the north of Glasgow.
Frankland first knew the victim when she was about 12.
They went on to meet in “secret”. The court heard the girl had a troubled background.
Frankland first raped her when she was 13.
Prosecutor Eilidh Robertson said he had come into a room she was in, demanded sex and pushed her onto a bed.
There were further times when he took advantage of her in a vulnerable state.
On one occasion, Frankland attacked her in an alleyway but was interrupted by a passerby.
Other incidents occurred after the teenager had been in Kelvingrove Park and while they were on a train.
Police became involved after the pair had an argument at a shopping centre in Clydebank.
Officers then became aware of videos of Frankland raping the victim in March 2023.
The girl was said to be in a condition where she was unable to consent to sexual activity and her body appeared “floppy”.
Ms Roberston said: “The girl’s position is that she has no memory whatsoever of this sexual encounter.”
There was a further incident after the girl agreed to meet him in late 2023. He attacked her while they walked in a forest in Old Kilpatrick, West Dunbartonshire.
Frankland was subject to six different bail orders during the dates of the charge.
