Scott Kerr, 48, went on a rampage in Glasgow’s West End on May 24, 2023.
Kerr was armed with a black barrelled air weapon when he visited Esquire House, the Victoria Bar and the Deoch and Doris.
Kerr fired the weapon at a front door of one of the premises and pointed the gun at a man and his wife who were also inside.
An enraged Kerr also brandished the firearm after he was refused service at one of the pubs he was barred from.
Kerr, of the city’s Knightswood, also aimed the gun at a terrified man on the street as he walked back to his car.
First offender Kerr pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The court heard that Kerr was at Esquire House when he initially claimed he had a gun in his rucksack.
An employee challenged him about it and Kerr told him that it was “only a pellet gun.”
Kerr went on to brag about having the firearm to another customer and behaved in a “belligerent manner.”
Kerr later produced the gun which was described as an air pistol that was medium in length with a long barrel.
Prosecutor Lauren Sangray said: “A witness observed him cocking the firearm and fired it in the direction of the front door.
“The witness did not hear anything being discharged from the weapon.
“Another witness Colin Brown observed Kerr was pointing the weapon which was aimed at himself and his wife.”
The police were contacted but Kerr was able to flee the scene.
He went to Dumbarton Road where he approached Alan Carberry who was making his way back to his vehicle.
Kerr told him: “I’ve got a shooter in here” and produced the gun from his bag.
Miss Sangray added: “He pointed it at Mr Carberry and pretended to shoot it as the victim jumped out of the way.
“Kerr proceeded to walk on and point the gun to other members of the public and then at parked vehicles”
Kerr then attended the nearby Victoria Bar where he was earlier barred from entering.
He was told he was not welcome and that he would not be served alcohol.
Kerr replied: “Are you kidding? I have a gun.”
He then removed the weapon from his bag and waved it about before leaving.
Kerr visited the Deoch and Doris bar where he was seen to drink alcohol near a tin of pellets.
Police were alerted to Kerr’s presence meantime.
Kerr told a witness: “I’m going to show you something” before he produced a wooden handled black barrelled gun.
The witness grabbed the weapon and Kerr replied: “Give me my shooter, give me my shooter.”
The witness held the gun in the pub’s basement before officers attended.
Kerr was arrested and stated: “Aye, I had a shooter, blah, blah, I didn’t kill anybody, check my record, I’m clean.”
Richard Allan, defending, told the court: “There were concerns for his mental health and personal safety.
“He is a man who has never been in trouble before and he is absolutely abhorred by his behaviour on that particular day.”
Sentence was deferred pending background reports by Sheriff Daniel Kelly who granted Kerr bail meantime.
