Man found dead during early hours at block of flats

A man has been found dead at a block of flats in Glasgow during the early hours of Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to the high-rise buildings at Cathkinview Place in the Mount Florida area at around 3.30am following reports of concern for a man.

The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are still in the area. An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30am on Thursday, April 23, 2026, we were called to a report of concern for a man at a block of flats in the Cathkinview Place area of Glasgow.

“A short time later, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Officers remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
