Google MapsA man has been left seriously injured following an attempted murder in Inverclyde.
The 21-year-old was found on Greenock’s West Blackhall Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after midnight and the man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information about the incident.
Detective Inspector Euan McMillan said: “We are looking for any witnesses who had been in the area around the time of this incident to contact police.
“Additionally, anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage around this time which may assist in our inquiries is asked to come forward.”
West Blackhall Street was closed while offices carried out inquiries.
