STV NewsA man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of two police officers as well as various road traffic offences.
The two officers were carrying out enquiries on Glen Avenue in Larkhall on July 25, when they were driven at and struck by a van.
The male officers, aged 41 and 43, were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
Police carried out extensive enquiries, searching over 100 properties in Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders.
On August 25, officers arrested and charged Declan McLaren in connection with the incident.
The 32-year-old appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court facing two counts of attempted murder.
He is also facing three road traffic offences and a charge of perverting the course of justice.
McLaren, of Larkhall, made no plea and was remanded in custody to appear in court within the next eight days.
In addition, a woman appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with perverting the course of justice.
Sharon Pollock, 59, made no plea and was granted bail to appear in court at a later date.
