A man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a man in Glasgow.
Officers were called to a property at Drakemire Avenue in Castlemilk around 8.10pm on April 2 following a report of concern for a man.
Craig Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene. Following a post-mortem examination, his death is being treated as murder.
On Monday, a 56-year-old man appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the death.
STV NewsAlexander Keatings, whose general address was given as Fort William faced a charge of murder and another charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
No plea was entered, and he was remanded in custody. The case was committed for further examination.
