iStockA man has been taken to hospital after he was deliberately hit by a car in East Kilbride on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Kimberley Gardens at around 6pm following the attack.
The 39-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital Wishaw for treatment.
Detectives are “following a positive line of enquiry”, Police Scotland said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 6pm on Monday, December 8, 2025, we received a report of man being deliberately struck by a car in Kimberley Gardens, East Kilbride.
“A 39-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment.
“Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
