Man in hospital following attack near Queen's Park

A man has been taken to hospital after being attacked in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Victoria Road in the Southside of the city at around 2.30pm on Tuesday following reports of a serious assault.

A man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries. His current condition is unknown.

Eyewitnesses on the scene said officers spoke to local business owners in a bid to find CCTV of the attack.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, emergency services attended at Victoria Road, Glasgow following reports a man had been seriously assaulted.

“He has been taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
