A man who was killed in a country road crash in Dumfries and Galloway has been named by police.
John Alexander Carruthers died when his grey Mini was involved in a collision with a black Range Rover on the B721 near Dornock between Annan and Gretna on August 20.
The 51-year-old, who was from the Annan area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 62-year-old female driver of the Range Rover was taken to hospital with non-serious injuries.
Police say enquiries remain ongoing and anyone who has not spoken to officers is asked to contact them.
