Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched to the ground while waiting for a taxi in Glasgow city centre.
The 41-year-old man was on George Square at around 4.30am on Sunday, January 28, when he was attacked.
The victim was punched in the face by another man while waiting at the taxi rank causing him to fall to the ground.
He required treatment for a head injury at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary but was later discharged.
Constable Martin Howie, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault and who hasn’t already spoke to officers to get in touch.”
