An investigation has been launched after a man was assaulted by two attackers at a train station.

The incident took place at Alexandria railway station near Dumbarton at around 2.30pm on December 6, 2024.

The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked by two men.

British Transport Police has released CCTV images of a man it believes could assist with the investigation.

It is believed he may have a scar on the back of his head.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2400153693.
