A man was rescued by fire crews after falling into a disused railway tunnel in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Cleveden Road in the city’s West End area at around 7.40pm on Wednesday.
Two fire appliances, a specialist height appliance and a rope rescue team were deployed to the scene, and the man was successfully rescued.
His current condition is unknown.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 7.40pm on Wednesday, January 10 to reports of a person who had fallen near a disused railway tunnel at Cleveden Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances, one specialist height appliance and a rope rescue team to the scene.
“Firefighters rescued one person using rope rescue equipment before passing them into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
