A man is in hospital after he was stabbed in Glasgow on Saturday morning.

Police received a report that a 35-year-old had been “seriously assaulted” in Katewell Place in the city’s Drumchapel shortly before 10am on March 23.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.

Police have said that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50am on Saturday, March 23, 2024, we received a report that a 35-year-old man had been seriously assaulted in Katewell Place, Glasgow. 

“He has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
