A man has been treated for serious injuries after a property was targeted by three men armed with weapons.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Standalane in Annan at around 7.55pm on Saturday, September 19.
It was reported to officers that several men armed with weapons proceeded to smash windows and cause damage.
A 25-year-old man was traced with serious injuries to his hands and received treatment at the scene.
Police are looking to trace three male suspects in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson said: “This disturbance took place in a busy residential area and we’re appealing to anyone with information that could assist our enquiries to please get in touch.
“We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage which could be of significance.
“We understand the concern incidents of this nature can cause to the local community and we have increased patrols and visibility in the area to provide reassurance as we carry out enquiries.
